Funding Sources Congress has re-authorized the Older American's Act.  This is the piece of legislation that provides federal funding for many local programs that have raised the quality of life for senior citizens. A partial listing of the programs includes: Congregate Nutrition sites; Home-delivered Meals on Wheels; Respite Services for Caregivers; Home Care and Adult Day Care; Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP): and the many other suppoertive services provided by our local Office for Aging. CAREGIVER SUPPORT GROUP Gatherings are the First Tuesday of every month from 6:30 - 8pm. Refreshments served with a smile.
